Canadian Feature Film LUCKY 7 Premieres at 15th Shanghai International Film Festival

TORONTO--(Marketwire - June 18, 2012) - Winner of the Audience Choice Award at the Hamilton Film Festival, the independently produced Canadian feature film LUCKY 7 by boomerang films inc. announces its International Premiere at the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) June 2012.

Taking place on the gritty, urban streets of Hamilton, the same streets that once hatched the real "French Connection," and the nerve centre for organized crime in Ontario, is the backdrop for our story of loss, love, and redemption centered on our main character Patrick Farley, aka Lucky 7, who returns to his home town after a nine year absence only to find himself being framed for murder. 

Attending the festival marks an exciting development for the production team. "I am thrilled to have LUCKY 7 included in this year's edition of the Shanghai International Film Festival. Our little indie that everyone has worked so hard on, is out on the world scene in a big way.
